Meet Helen - Lactation Consultant
I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I have been supporting families with infant feeding and parenting for over 20 years.
I first trained as an adult nurse before qualifying as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor). My interest in breastfeeding and infant feeding led me to pursue a career focused on leading infant feeding services, which includes supporting new parents in their feeding journey and navigating the challenges encountered along the way.
I am passionate about public health and believe supporting positive early feeding and parenting experiences contributes to long-term health.
I believe parents should have access to the support they need and be given evidence-based information to support them in their parenting decisions.
I am a member of Lactation Consultants of Great Britain (LCGB).
